Amazing hostas!!! Such a variety. Also very helpful with advice on how to deal with rabbits. I picked up a few mini hostas but I’ll be back in the spring to get some larger ones to fill out my large shady garden.

I visited for the first time yesterday (9/7) on the last "open to public" event this year. Enjoyed my visit. Lots of hosta in varieties I've only seen online. Prices are listed on a multi-page document that you hv to pick up before you look or can go online to reference. There are fields, kind of wild/chaotic with cut in areas, not greenhouses or rows. They are planted and grouped and somewhat randomly placed around, intermixed with other plants, trees, equipment, buckets, planters, statuary, water features, water beds filled with plants, mounds of dirt, wood chips. Definitely a working plant farm not a nursery! The water beds look swampy and yuck until you spot the beautiful lillies and lotus in pinks, yellows, whites, purples. Those were pretty fascinating. While an interesting visit, prices for the sweet little dwarf hostas I was interested in were too high for me. (I was hoping on the last day that I might find some bargains - not!) Other people were buying though and happily adding to their collections.

I love coming here when they are open to the public. There are lots of other plants besides just hostas. The aquatic plants are beautiful and I love taking photos of the waterlilies and lotuses. Frogs live in the small ponds, and it is a lot of fun. The parking is tight, which is the only downside.
