Working with Princy to get native plants for my projects was wonderful! She was quick to respond and kept me updated about which plants she had on hand, their sizes and made helpful recommendations for alternatives if she didn’t have something on my list. I sourced a variety of natives, including several local ecotypes from Blue Violet for two client projects and one of my own and all the plants she provided are establishing themselves so well. My clients are thrilled with the growth and I was thrilled to be getting great native perennials at such great prices!

Historically I have not been a 'flower' girl until I met Princy through volunteering. Princy helped our local DAR Chapter develop a Butterfly Garden, she is priceless for her native plant knowledge, teaching/communication skills and generosity of both. I bought several varieties of native plants from Blue Violet Natives in July 2025. The plants were very healthy with strong root system. They have been doing well in my garden after planting. The owner Princy is passionate about native plants and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed my purchase experience and getting to know all kinds of native plants in her yard.

I had the most AMAZING experience buying my very first group of MD native plants from Blue Violet Natives! I cannot say enough what a positive, educational, and welcoming experience it was for me! I am a very new gardener and, I have a lot to learn. Princy (the owner/founder of Blue Violet Natives) could not have been kinder — it’s clear that she and her company care deeply for the land, the plants, the pollinators, and our local MD native-plant habitat! The prices were great! And my native plants are thriving. I have been stopped by so many neighbors, over the past two or so months, thanking me for creating beauty in my little corner of our block.
