We have shopped around to find a well stocked nursery for a client. This place has an immense variety of plants, flowers, trees and more. The staff was friendly and helped guide us to the plants we needed. Bonus- they even have 6 month warranty on their bushes! We certainly will continue networking with them!

Excellent experience dealing with Jennifer. It was seamless easy and a very competitive price. If you are in the Hagerstown area and fail to at the very least get a quote you are doing yourself a disservice. We bought 12 large arborvitae for a fence row and they look great. Perfect spacing excellent installation

Moved to Hagerstown in 22. Was excited to see this nursery 5 minutes from my house. Purchased some shrubs, one died, but I was able to get a replacement. Went back and purchased two more shrubs and waited, and waited, to get a call for planting. No call, so I ended up planting them myself. 3 months later I get a call from this guy who asks did I ever get my shrubs planed? Are you kidding me. That was (Previous mgmt.). I promised myself that I would not go there again. Fast forward 2026, found out through someone who lives in my neighborhood, along with the signage I saw they were under new management. Ok, So I go and I'm looking to replace 2 shrubs that our landscaping company killed by using a pesticide. Approached by this oriental lady and I told her I was looking for shrubs that could thrive in the Sun. Her response was "how many are you going to buy?" That annoyed me, so I left. After searching Although very hesitant, I decided to give it one more try. Mind you my neighbors across the street, and up the street, re did their entire landscaping through Lovells. I noticed the quick turnaround. We talk in this neighborhood. I ended up purchasing two shrubs and because I did not know at the time that it was our landscaping company that killed my shrubs that I had planted and purchased from a nursery in Crofton Md., I decided to let Lovell's do it. I thought it would be a quick turnaround. This purchase was made on the 24th. The rep that assisted me, was very helpful and she told me the planting date was TBD. Ok, I'm a fairly patient person and I know the weather was fickle. However, because it was starting to feel like a repeat from the previous mgmt., I decided to drop by on Monday. I told them I would take the shrubs and plant them myself, so I only wanted the refund for the delivery and planting. The rep goes upstairs and I don't know if this was a manager, but she comes down and says let me check my schedule. She came out so quickly, I thought to myself, did she really check the schedule? She told me they would be at my house Tuesday or Wednesday. I was like, ok fine. Talk about blowing me off. Wow. I had no intentions of sitting around all day on Tuesday to see if they would show up. Plus, I have cameras so I could see no one showed up. And today (Wednesday) it was raining this morning, but it had stopped by the afternoon. So I thought perhaps they would show up to do the planting. But I was wrong, no one showed up nor called. Now, I am beyond annoyed and frustrated so I decided to go back today and get all of my money back. Fortunately, the lady who assisted me with the initial purchase was there and although she was very apologetic, along with the gentleman who assisted her, it was too little too late. After I explained my issue, I heard her say they could have planted them today. I do not want to conclude what this situation truly looks like to me, but trust and believe that is exactly what I feel. My neighbor sees no wrong and I get it. They jump when she makes a purchase. Next day in fact. In any event, I received my refund this afternoon. So Lovell's does not need to worry about responding to this review, because I have NO INTENTIONS of EVER patronizing them again. This was beyond piss poor customer service. Thank goodness they are not the only nursery in this area.
