Our first visit to Poor Boys (or Po'boys as we say, as we're from Louisiana) was amazing. Our son loves plants, so he was in his element seeing all the different varieties, especially the water plants! They have so many perennials, trees, and annuals to choose from. They even have mushroom growing kits! The clerk who checked us out was so nice and helpful, too!
Excellent plants perennial and annuals, staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
I go for the selection, plants you can't find elsewhere including many native species.
I haven't purchased any gardening merchandise, but I have purchased sports apparel and accessories and will always come back. Staff has excellent customer service.
I could wander around this place for ages. My kids and I love visiting the koi. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. At this point in my life I’m limited to gardening on a balcony, but I’m making the best of it with herbs and things that can grow in small pots. The pet supply store is great too and staff there has always been wonderful. Though it seems a more separate business now. Both are great and I love to shop a small, local business that I can fit in my budget.
