Extremely happy with the plants. great customer service, i wandered in while hiking, and despite being a wholesaler and not really a customer-facing job, the staff there politely and professionally redirected me to the retail website. there i was able to find exactly the plants i was looking for, fantastic selection of plants. and when i picked the plants up the staff was extremely quick and courteous, i look forward to shopping here again
Nic operation and an excellent supplier of native plants for the region. Work with some of the better landscapers around MD. Note they no longer work with aquatics tho.
Stopped in this morning to check this place out place looked amazing but customer service wasn't impressive. Asked employee prepping an order about looking around his response was "One of us has to take you around" I said ok can I ask about that? "My boss is on the phone and it could be a couple mins" Sure I can wait Just stared at me "You know we are a Wholesaler right" So I left My issue with this is A. I was from out of state and wanted to visit before I ordered plants via a website that makes no specifications about making an appointment. Business hours are posted so the assumption is that potential clients can visit and see what they are about to buy. I was far more impressed by the plants I saw then the customer service I received. But if they make all there money with online orders good for them.
This place is amazing the owner mr. Wicklein is great too and he is reasonable too.
Wicklein's has quality aquatic plants for your pond or water garden. They no longer have retail walk-in sales, but you can order and pay online and have your order delivered or call and ask for a pickup if you are local. There are few places locally in north & central MD for QUALITY plants and this place is it. I am a satisfied customer who has returned for service anytime I need plants. Try them out. I don't think you will be disappointed!
