Called for price on rock. When I went there to get it the price went up by $25. Had coupon for 15% off $100 or more. They would not honor coupon, said not valid for rock. Coupon does not say that anywhere on it. Their price $199 plus tax, went to Canton Top Soil $165 same rock per yard. Over priced and wont honor coupon. Not going back.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT Lucas installed arbs for us in mid May. We watered faithfully exactly as instructed. (Even more due to heat) As weeks went by, leaves started turning brown. We reached down under the soil and it felt dry. We discovered the burlap was double wrapped and tied tightly around the root balls and it was not cut open at all so water was not able to get to the roots. The installers were in a hurry and obviously did not know what they were doing. I reported it to Lucas on 6/11/26 and sent photos of the trees and the uncut burlap and they did not respond. I continued to follow up and finally told them I would need to post negative reviews on social media. Then they responded by saying “I apologize you feel this way, very busy this time of year” and “arborvitae’s need water”. HUH????? I said you must not have looked the photos. No denial their installer did job poorly or offer to come out and look nothing. Just basically ignored me.. their final comment was “ I'm sorry you feel so harsh. Hope all goes well and God Bless.” I did meet the owner in the store when we were selecting the trees. He was upset because I didn’t want the trees they picked out for us, they looked awful. Quite a stubborn and nasty man (Mr. Lucas I believe) He literally walked away from me in the middle of our conversation! And I was not yelling or being rude at all he just didn’t want to deal with me and walked away! This business has gone downhill. They used to be better. I would not let them do any landscaping work as the installers are not experienced and the owner doesn’t care!

I would give 0 stars if I could. We ordered sod installation around May 15, and Lucas Nursery and Landscaping promised the job would be completed by the end of May. Today is June 26, and no one has shown up to install it. Over the past several weeks, they apologized and rescheduled the installation three different times. Each time we were promised a new date, and each time they failed to show up or keep their word. After waiting for more than a month beyond the original completion date, I called today to cancel the order and requested that my $500 deposit be refunded since they never performed the work. Instead, the owner was rude, refused to return our deposit, and took no responsibility for repeatedly missing their commitments. Very disappointing experience. Poor communication, broken promises, and terrible customer service. I would strongly recommend staying away from this business.

Went to look for some shrubs, I’m not poor by any means but for a small bush in a 1 to 2 gallon pot for $71.99 with NO warranty at all… nope! I’ve seen the same size elsewhere at lower prices and a 1 yr warranty . I understand that some people just don’t take through their plants and they die and they return them, but not everyone’s like that. I think usually people who buy shrubs to make your yard looks nice and put the money into it. You’re going to take care of it. So no I won’t be buying from there… maybe a birdbath lol at least not shrubs,
