I ordered 10 yards of hardwood mulch from Margolis and am very happy with it. Dan replied to all of my questions quickly. Delivery was available within a few days, was on time, and the driver was very nice. The mulch is great quality.
Excellent work on our front yard landscaping project. The plant selection and installation have significantly enhanced our home’s curb appeal and really transformed the space. We are happy with it and would work with them again!
I have previously had a very good experience with ordering mulch from Margolis. However this year I ordered a in ground soil which was a combination of top soil and compost. It literally ruined all my flowers -- the leaves of the marigolds turned purple and the leaves of my butterfly bushes, salvia and lantanas turned yellow. All of this is due to a phosphate deficiency in this soil. I had to by Espoma triple phosphate and amend the soil. I will not order soil from them again, the top soil in the Miracle Gro bags are excellent for inground planting. It is more expensive but definitely better than spending money on so many plants and have many of them dying due to poor soil
