Very kind, helpful staff with great advice if you need any help with your plants. The plants they sell are well taken care of, and I haven't had difficulties with keeping them happy and healthy after I bring them home. One of the recent times I came in, I bought some soil; recently I repotted some plants, and they've been happy so far. The soil does retain water quite well, so if you are repotting a plant that needs better drainage, I'd recommend mixing it with a chunky soil mix. Definitely going to be adding Keeping It Green to my plant stops when I'm in the business of adopting some new plants.

My favorite store in Helena! Such a variety of plants, helpful employees, and something for everyone. My kids are always enthralled with the neat fish tank, allowing me more time to browse the plants and gifts :)

I am definitely not a plant person, but when my orchid started looking like it needed some help, I took it in to Keeping It Green. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind from the moment I walked in. They helped me repot my orchid, took the time to educate me on how to care for it going forward, and never made me feel out of place for not knowing what I was doing. If you're looking for a place that truly cares about their customers (plant people or not) I can't recommend them enough. I will absolutely be back!
