My new favorite plant shop. Local and female owned! It looks like an enchanted fairy castle that you might find in a storybook. Beautiful happy, healthy plants of all kinds - some that I’ve never seen before, in all different kinds of vintage and novelty planters. I was a little concerned that it would be overpriced but the plant prices are really reasonable. Rose and Sophia are very knowledgeable and helped me with my questions. For an extra dopamine bonus, they have a very sweet and affectionate shop dog. My only complaints/suggestions: 1. I would really like to know the subtypes of the begonias and succulents. 2. It would be great to find more rare types of succulents here (variegated, crested, etc) 3. Hours are very limited - would love if there was a weekday they were open at least until 6pm.

I love rose and her beautiful plants! The shop is lovely and so niche, with so many beautiful plants and pots for sale. She has an incredibly wide selection for a fairly small shop and she keeps things rotating so you always find something new! Plus the prices are some of the best in town.

Rose’s Garden Shop is easily one of the most welcoming little plant shops in Asheville. Rose and the rest of the team are incredibly helpful and genuinely take the time to answer questions and point you in the right direction. Sophia and Lauren are especially creative and clearly have a passion for what they do. You can see it in the way the shop is set up and the unique plants and displays they put together. The pricing is also really fair, which is refreshing compared to some of the more boutique plant shops. Everyone there is friendly, down-to-earth, and makes you feel comfortable just browsing and learning. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back.

What an absolutely beautiful place. I was in awe as soon as I pulled in the driveway. I left with quite a selection for a great deal! The entire staff was lovely and I can’t wait to come back on our next trip to the area!
