Great nursery with very helpful staff! All of their plants are top-notch. All of their plants are non-GMO and very healthy. All of the plants I have ever bought from here have thrived once planted in the ground. In fact, their plants tend to do better than the ones I buy at Lowe’s or Home Depot. They also have soil, mulch, and tools for any gardening needs.

I have visited the nursery several times in the past few weeks and have also paid for garden design services. Despite multiple emails and text messages to my garden designer regarding a very simple request for input, I have not received any response or acknowledgment on a very basic inquiry. During my onsite visit on April 18, I was working with a staff member in a green shirt and was standing over two plants—the last two of that variety—when another associate pushed past me, took both plants, and walked away, despite the objections of the employee assisting me. The interaction was surprising and placed me in an unnecessarily uncomfortable position. This past week a request for assistance was met with distain - I know it must be hard and demanding to work the weekends but literally was buying pottery and needed assistance given the weight of the items, etc. Unfortunately, my experiences so far have felt dismissive and unsatisfactory. Given I have had multiple poor experiences, I am beginning to suspect the issue may be more systemic and cultural with Pikes and not isolated incidents.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I moved to Charlotte - a Pike's Nursery!!! After living in Atlanta for 36 years Pike's was a perennial favourite for me. Now I just have a small patio deck but still have lots of fun! Took a chance, AGAIN, but this time on a darling hummingbird feeder from Pike's and put it out yesterday late afternoon and had a hummer within the hour!!!! 🐞 Released my ladybugs at dusk last night. They had pots of French style culinary herbs, even chervil!!! Thank you Pike's and Amy who took such good care of me!!!!
