Today as I was traveling down HWY 70 towards Raleigh I encountered heavy road construction. I was forced to make a right turn and go down perpendicular to the Hwy. The detour signs were not clear so between trying to follow them and my GPS, I (as well as several other cars) ended up being forced to take a right into the parking lot of this establishment. Big mistake. My GPS instructed me to go straight and although our line of cars did encounter a sign that indicated no thru traffic we followed the GPS. Suddenly a white truck came zooming up and a male jumped out stomping towards my vehicle. He began yelling and shouting at me. My dogs were in the vehicle and began barking in response to his demeanor. I apologized and asked how to get back to the correct place. The male continued to yell and I told him I was sorry and I had been following my GPS and got confused. He then said “Your GPS is going to get you in trouble.” I do understand that I took a wrong turn and I was in an area that he did not want people in. However, it was an accident and if the detour was not clear he needs to take it up with the state DOT doing the construction. I can deal with rudeness but there is no scenario in which his aggressiveness was warranted. No one deserves to be talked to that way. If this is the type of people running this nursery I hope the plants are at least a bit more agreeable. I try hard to consider my experience prior to leaving a review but his behavior was completely unacceptable and unwarranted over a simple mistake.
