Good native plant selection, you can shop online and arrange to pick up the plants, mostly all very local natives that he has grown, he willingly shares his knowledge, keeps his prices low, is an advocate for helping pollinators and ecologic diversity preservation. Highly recommend!!
Jesse removed a couple of dead Leyland Cypresses from our property that had been planted by a previous owner. He did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. He showed up exactly on time and got straight to work, completing the job efficiently and with skill. He shredded all the branches on-site and let us have the wood chips which he unloaded exactly where we needed them, saving us a ton of time. Jesse is also extremely knowledgeable about native plants. He has a nice selection for sale in his small nursery. And when he came to our house for the free consultation on the trees he spent quite some time walking the property with us and offering lots of advice on our native plantings. We'll absolutely call him again for any future tree work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable arborist. Small backyard nursery open seasonally on Saturdays with a small array of young native trees, shrubs, and perennials. Found a couple grown from seed natives here that I couldn't find anywhere else. Highly recommend!
Jesse assessed our tree health, helped us identify and remove some non-natives, and pruned a number of other trees as well. Very helpful and informative. I look forward to checking out the nursery in the spring.
