About the Nursery

Full-service nursery and garden center. Top products: Perennials, Shrubs, Trees, Christmas trees, Annuals, Vegetable starts. Linda's Plants & Shrubs is a family-owned and operated nursery and garden center based near Hendersonville, North Carolina, with operations dating back to 1984. The business maintains over 35,000 square feet of greenhouse and retail space, focusing on the production and sale of a wide variety of plants including perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees, vegetables, and herbs. Catering to both homeowners and professional gardeners, they serve the Western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina regions. In addition to their core horticultural offerings, the nursery operates on a seasonal cycle, providing fresh-cut Christmas trees and holiday decor in the winter, and harvesting pumpkins, gourds, and local produce during the fall. By operating both a primary retail location and a seasonal presence at the WNC Farmer's Market, they provide consistent access to locally grown plant material and ornamental stock, emphasizing their role as a long-standing horticultural resource in the local community.

I have to give Linda's a five. Quite the variety of perennials and annuals as well as trees and evergreens. Their smoke tree seemed a little pricey but I still give them a 5 rating. Just to go there and get ideas of what you might want to plant. Got some Yellow Boy tomato seedlings that looked great and will go with the Roma's and cherry tomatoes I already planted by seed

S/O likes it better than I do. Great selection of landscape plants. I'm less impressed with container plants due to over fertilization resulting in overgrown root systems. Prices seem idk.

We unfortunately have had our past 2 experiences here go negatively both of which were bad service the plants are great here if you can find them none of the staff seem to want to help you find anything and won’t tell you much of how to take care of the plants I just wish the service was better because most of my plants came from here and doing wonderful

Went there today for the first time and will not be back. Attempted to look at flowers in the greenhouses but was constantly pushed off the single lane tracks by princesses carrying hanging plants and others. No one approached me to see if I needed help—seemed too busy with landscape designers and elite clientele. Definitely a billionaire’s world now.
