Do you only plant trees in rows?

We can plant any number of trees or shrubs that you would like, in any arrangement.  We specialize in planting large trees or large numbers of trees, but our services are available for any and all planting projects.  We will plant anything that we sell, and we sell almost anything that will grow and perform well in North Dakota landscapes.  We can, have, and will plant everything from a single tree to thousands of trees on any size project.

Do you sell anything other than trees?

Accepted Answer

We sell trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, natives and sod.  We also sell a handful of planting materials like tree watering bags, t-posts and tree straps.  We do specialize in trees, but you will find so much more available at our nursery.  Most of the plant varieties we have are listed on our website.  If there is something not listed that you are looking for, you may call us to inquire.

Can I buy trees to plant on my own?

You can buy trees from us to pick up and plant on your own.  If you have questions or need some information on best practices for planting, we are here to help.  If you decide that you would like someone to do the planting, our services are available, or we can connect you with a landscaper from our network best suited to your needs.

Can you plant our trees for us?

Accepted Answer

We can plant for you anything that we sell.  We have planted single shade trees in front yards, and thousands of trees in rows on large properties.  We are available for either situation, or anything in between.  We have even planted trees that had been purchased elsewhere.

Can our landscaper plant your trees for us?

Accepted Answer

Your landscaper can plant our trees for you.  Many local landscapers purchase their landscape plants from us already.  We sell landscape plants wholesale to local landscapers.  If you have a trusted landscaper already, you can ask them if they use Tree Rows 4 U trees.  You can also purchase them from us directly, and most will have no issue planting them for you.

What kind of landscaping do you do?

We specialize in planting tree rows and large plots of trees for expansive properties.  If your landscape requirements extend beyond our trees and plants, we can collaborate with your trusted landscaper or connect you with the best fit from our network of local landscape contractor partners.

Question 7

What kind of trees do you have available for North Dakota landscapes?

Accepted Answer

We specialize in high quality, North Dakota hardy shade trees, evergreens, fruit trees and ornamentals.  We also have available a wide variety of shrubs, perennials, grasses, natives and sod for North Dakota landscapes.  There are far too many to list here, but most of what we have regularly available is listed on our website.  If you do not see what you are looking for there, just call or email to inquire.  We probably have a grower in our network that we can get it from.

When is the best time to plant trees in North Dakota?

Accepted Answer

The answer to that depends on the level of attention and care you are able to provide to the trees in their crucial days, weeks, and months after planting.  If you are not able to provide any water, then you will want to plant in cooler times when there is less need for water, and more likelihood for rain.  Planting early in the spring, or once we have cooled some in the fall can relieve some of this need.

Rain is never a guarantee in North Dakota though, so it is good to plan to be able to provide them with some water immediately after planting, and for the rest of that first season at least.  If you have a means to get your new plants water on a regular schedule, then you can plant any time of the year that we are able to dig a hole.

If you have concerns on how you will get water to newly planted trees, then it is best to contact us a few months before the planting season starts.  If you call in January or February, you are much more likely to get a preferred time on our schedule.

Can I buy trees online?

You can find most of the trees and other plants that we have available listed on our website.  You can use this to find the varieties that you like best.  However, you must call or email to speak with an actual person to place an order with us.  We take pride in our local knowledge and service.  We want to make sure that you get plants that are suited for your individual preferences and planting situation.
