I love this place but the flowers are not always match with the labels. I got the itoh peony said pink but it gave me yellow color which I already have one yellow. And the clematis is supposed to be multiple layers but it looks just the cheap one, i could get it way better condition way cheaper at other stores.
First time here. Wish we had gone earlier in the season. Found some different plants and a few favorites. Will be back.
What can I say? This is my happy place. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous. The people that work there (and owners) are so helpful and friendly. They have so many choices! Last month, I asked where the Dahlias were and the woman, who was working, helped me and pointed me in the right direction. Holy moly was I overwhelmed! They have 3 different heights, (of course) different colors, etc. I was about to have a panic attack in the Dahlia section! Out of nowhere the lady who was helping me popped up. She helped me figure out what size I wanted (and could take care of), size of the planter, and the colors I wanted. The products I have purchased have been healthy and strong. All but one plant has grown this season. The melon was the only thing that didn't take. But that's out of 25 plants (maybe more) so the odds are in your favor. We buy both flowers and vegetable/fruit plants. I cannot tell you how many people comment on my Dahlias! They are absolutely gorgeous and huge. I cannot wait to buy a lot more next year!
Family owned and super friendly! If you haven't visited the tropical greenhouse, you are missing out!! Always a great spot for annuals and perennials at amazing prices!
Love that they added a native perennial section! (I think "added", I don't remember it being there last year). Bought some Boneset and Beardtongue there on Mother's Day. Most of the stuff that was there on Mother's Day is gone, so it seems like it's selling! Today (end of May '26) they had: Joe Pye, bonset, all different types of mountain mints, monkeyflower, big and little blue-stem grass, switchgrass, sundial lupine, swamp rose mallow, and more. It's a shame all I have is a balcony and I'm almost at capacity in terms of space, otherwise I'd buy them all! Prices are very reasonable for all of them. I love that the sign for the section is big, colorful, and right front and center in the parking lot- hard to miss. My only suggestion: the included tags from whatever nurseries are growing these plants have very little info on them and could benefit from more growing info (even if little handwritten signs made by Frizzhome). If we want people to get into planting natives make it easy as possible and have all the info in front of them to decide, as it can be overwhelming at first. Regardless, whoever is responsible here, kudos! Looking forward to see how this section changes throughout the season & grows over time! Now to see where I can make space for some more plants...
