Not only was everyone working there INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful, the trees are superb. We wanted one around 7" tall and fat and had pur pick. They have wheeled carts to help get the tree back to the parking/tree-wrapping area and I was grateful because the farm is quite extensive and we wandered afar. It's already on our calendar to return next year!

Lovely farm run by some great folks! A variety of sizes and kinds to choose from—my favorite is definitely the Concolor Fir for that ~citrus smell. Quite the harvest they have this year. Would 100% recommend stopping by and supporting Wintergreen Farm.
Drove out on black friday 2021. Wonderful people, wonderful farm. Other farms say they have Fraser firs and Concolor firs and have very few small ones. Wintergreen has so many. Picked out a Concolor and the citrus smell was amazing. Long soft needles on a beautiful 8 footer. They have tree carts to bring the tree back to barn. They will bundle the tree in plastic mesh for you as well. This isn't a "hot chocolate and all kind of knick knacks for sale" kind of farm. Just trees and a few wreaths and maybe(?) a garland. Again, very nice people. Finally found a tree farm we'll be returning to. Extra bonus is the downtown (really just a crossroads) of Lafayette has a few cute Antique shops, and a bookstore. One shop has lots of chocolate treats. Edit: Have gone back 2023 & 25 and very happy with the trees we’ve found. Seems that the farm is getting more popular as it’s been busier. One thing I wish they had was a tree shaker to dislodge needles that are ready to come off. Relatively minor thing.. 2025 tree price was $80
Family tradition now going on 8yrs now, a lot to select from
Trees are now $120. 11 months ago they were $70,, this represents over 71% increase from less than a year a go!! I thought inflation was only around 10%?
