I called bear creek looking for climbing roses. I spoke to Lisa who told me she was getting them in the following week and she took a deposit and held them for me. I went yesterday to pick them up and was blown away at the selection. Not only did they have a great selection, but I received so much help and advice on what would work best in my garden. I ended up leaving with 13 plants. When I got home to plant- there was an issue with one of them. I emailed and they immediately apologized and offered to make it right. 10/10 experience and I will be back!

There are signs by the highway, saying that it's a farm with chickens and fresh eggs available. So I stopped on the way through to buy some eggs. I spent 15 minutes at this place and could not get anyone to help me. Anyone I asked for help pointed vaguely at one of four different buildings. I found a kid working in the cafe - no idea about eggs - looked at me like I was crazy. There was an event space in the back - a bridal shower had recently finished, but no one in that area had any idea what I was talking about. The shop selling cheap knickknacks was unattended. Finally the kid from the cafe wandered in, spent 5 more minutes having some guy pay for his coffee, then sort of looked around the front desk area (where there was no fridge or anything) and said, there are no eggs here. What a complete fraud this pace is. There is no farm here. It's a garden-y event space and a Cracker Barrel-style gift shop, a "cafe" that takes 10 minutes to make a cup of coffee and has you pay in a separate building, and no one working there at 4:00 on a Saturday. With false signs up and down the highway saying it's a farm with fresh eggs for sale. And basically no one working in there except one teenager covering four buildings.

I love their honey. We are about an hour away from this place and we drive every few months to refill our honey.

Great place to visit year round but especially around the holidays. The holiday gift shop is so cute with unique finds. Don’t forget to visit the animals on your way out.
