About the Nursery

Aquatic and Landscape Nursery. Top products: aquatic plants, fruit trees, perennials, shrubs, pond supplies. Albuquerque Water Gardens & Nursery, established in 1994 and located in Albuquerque's North Valley, operates as a specialized horticultural retailer and grower. The business focuses on two primary segments: aquatic gardening and traditional landscape plant material. As a premier regional supplier of aquatic plants, they provide comprehensive support for pond creation, including design guidance, construction advice, and the installation of aquatic flora and fauna. Beyond their aquatic specialization, the nursery maintains an extensive inventory of perennials, trees, and shrubs specifically selected for the New Mexico climate, with a particular emphasis on fruit trees suited to regional environmental conditions. Serving a wide customer base that spans New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma, the nursery emphasizes environmentally conscious practices, specifically promoting pesticide and herbicide-free gardening to navigate local desert climate challenges. Their staff of experienced horticulturists offers professional consultation to homeowners and pond enthusiasts alike.

Got a little tree for our backyard. The lady helping us was super kind and knowledgeable. She was super passionate, too. She straight up told us that if we didn’t wanna invest in care and water to just get a cactus lmao. Will be coming here for future plants!

Such a great place to walk around and check out all their plants and gardens. The service was amazing, honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. Thanks so much, I’ll definitely be back!

Previous 5 star rating was changed. A potential exchange in product that I had purchased 2 hours earlier didn’t mean that you had to insinuate that I had caused the damage. Also, when I called to see what time you were closing, which was near the 5 pm hour, I politely asked what time you closed today so that we could deal with the issue. When told, I advised that I was on my way and your response was “Good, because I don’t want to be dealing with this 3 months down the road”. Unbelievable. It’s unfortunate that I had already put my plant into my pond, as I would have requested every single penny back that I spent here. Your hate doesn’t deserve my business.

I visited this nursery for the 1st time and we will for sure be back!!!! Especially further down the warmer season. Their water ponds are beautiful and having live pond life like frogs and fish was gorgeous. Their pond supplies is also nice to see as some stuff; is better found or ordered; cause not everywhere supplies the things they had.
