I went there for the first time this week, actually by accident, meaning I've driven by this place many times barely seeing the store because it's hidden behind other stores. I needed stuff anyways to do my backyard like trees, flowers, etc. and WOW, I was so impressed and their prices were much more cheaper than Walmart with a greater selection of everything garden related! There's an indoor area with all supplies, while outside is the humongous area of trees, flowers, & more. As stated, the PROS is that it has really cheap prices - I bought a few trees and flowers and there's signs everywhere telling you their sale price. Bright side was store worker ANNA. She saw that I needed help and came and asked if I had any questions while I was scorching in the 108 degree heat choosing items in their large nursery and got lost couple of times because there's so much to look at, including the koi & turtle pond. ANNA was able to give me advice on what flowers and trees to purchase based on my questions and I bought everything the way she recommended it. She motivated me to want to come back more often. It's so much fun and I saw many families shopping too all excited at the varieties some never seen before in other stores. The only CONS about this store are 2 things: 1) there's no air conditioner inside the store & in this heatwave, it was brutal & some customers said they had to leave because they felt dizzy. 2) On both days I came, I bought a few of the advertised celosia for $2.88 but was charged $3.98 each both times. Another example was the coleus. There's two rows of them, with sale price of 98cent each so I bought 8 of them, but one rang up for $6.86 even though it's all in the same pot, same size plants. (I didn't notice this until I got home) It's not the fault of any of the register workers, but the pricing bar codes need updating. I don't know how many other customers were overcharged for other items. But overall, I would still recommend this store to any customers that ask for my opinion, and I would refer them to speak to Anna for any advice to improve their gardens. Thank you Star Nursery. This has been a game changers already in my backyard!
