I wanted to purchase a big round bowl to make a bird bath. They have tons of it there outside in the pottery section.

Great Selection of Hardy Desert Survivors! I've bought many of my backyard plants from Star Nursery, and they have proven to be incredibly resilient in our desert climate. If you take care of them and set up proper watering, they will absolutely thrive! My Desert Bird of Paradise and Pride of Barbados bring gorgeous, vibrant colors to the yard all summer long. The shade trees, Mesquite and Palo Verde have grown beautifully, handling the intense summer heat without an issue. Even the palm trees and yellow flowering shrubs are exceptionally strong and healthy. My Texas Mountain Laurel and Spartan Juniper from here are also doing wonderful in the heat. Highly recommend Star Nursery if you want quality plants that are truly acclimated to the local climate!

If you want any help or guidance on plants these people are not knowledgeable. Made this mistake! They won’t want to take the time with you which sucks because I went here hoping to be helped and it was quite actually the opposite! I even tried to ask for help with looking, the brushed me off almost immediately and their manager of the store is a joke. Totally ruined my first experience here and calling their corporate number is even more of a joke. Very disappointing for the expectations that I thought the store had being the “best” garden store. Not coming back. Even returned what I wanted to not give these people my money! Asking for help shouldn’t be an annoyance and your staff should want to help people who are just starting out!!!

Great plants at good prices. Any kind of fertilizers, rock, soil you need. Nice selection for spring! Beautiful plants.
