Elwood Farm remains one of my favorite places to include in our family traditions! Every year, we come to get our pumpkins and our Christmas trees. Everyone was so friendly and Lee was so knowledgeable and helpful in finding our perfect tree. He had a great selection to choose from. Can’t wait to be back for the next season!
This is the second year we got our tree from here, a beautiful 13 footer. Our tree lasted over five weeks last year and smelled really good. The owner met up with us and asked our preferences, then took us to where the best trees were. He’s very knowledgeable, and willing to answer our questions. Highly recommend.
We got our Xmas tree from the farm after the snowstorm. They hooked us up with a wreath freebie and also helped load up the tree on top of the car. The owner was friendly and easy to work with. Great experience overall.
Sick of expensive, half-dead baby trees in NYC? Want something bigger, fresher and grown by someone you can talk to? Look no further than Elwood Farm. My family and I have hade an annual tradition of the short drive East from Brooklyn, and have never left with anything short of a GORGEOUS Christmas tree, with some great conversation thrown in for free. Bring you kids (and/or dog) and make an afternoon of it, it will be worth it.
This was the third year in a row we've gotten our family's trees (plural) from Lee, who's become as big a part of our Christmas tradition as the tree itself (he's SUCH a funny character, and so knowledgable about what he does!). Elwood Farm is a quick drive from the city, and if they don't have a pre-cut tree that's PERFECT for you, Lee will take you out into his fields to cut your own (not a bad time to learn-up on Frasers VS. Canaans). Pricing is more than fair, especially when we compare it to your options in Brooklyn. For a little less, you get a fresher tree, and your pick of the litter. Couldn't recommend them more!
