I love this place and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I live in North Baldwin and was previously going to U-Haul on Maple Ave in RVC, which is by far the absolute worst place to go for propane. I started going to Oceanside Propane a few years ago and will not go anywhere else. Very friendly and very reliable. It’s right before, or after the Stop and Shop on Atlantic depending on where you’re coming from. I strongly recommend.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Super sketchy, overpriced and a really weird situation all around. They charged $75 to “fill” two tanks that were nowhere near full. Don’t go here.
CREEPY AND SHEISTY, DO NOT GO HERE. UPDATE- I don’t know who’s name and number you posted in reply to my review but trying to out people to delete posts proves my point. Likely the same company as Long Beach Propane. Charges $35 for a 20lb LP tank. Refused to quote prices over the phone before driving over there. After I filled up, Gary told me the price would vary each time I refilled based on market prices but then his larger colleague insisted that $35 was their starting and flat rate. There is also no store front, driveway, or price list; just a weird vacant area with a sad greenhouse and firewood. I should have known to drive away when I drove up but the place was conveniently located and I figured I would give it a try. I feel tricked and taken advantage of for being a woman and for being someone who didn't know better.
They charge more than double the price
Each take at any other store holds 15lbs. He filled to 20 lbs. 35$. Very happy will go back
