Amateur hour! Our experience with Oceanside Topsoil was horrible! They dropped my delivery at the front of my driveway. When we contacted the company to express our dismay, they were not helpful and defended the decision to dump 3 cubic yards of dirt at the front of my driveway. This caused us a great inconvenience during the work week, use any company but Oceanside Topsoil! If the width of the truck could not fit in my driveway, the company should have called to inform me. It is not acceptable to drop the delivery in the front of the driveway without confirming with the customer.

I ordered good topsoil and i got delivered wood chips with sand and crashed concrete. When i called and complained about it, they said this is how topsoil is manufactured. Topsoil should be organic not process. I filed a dispute charge with my credit card company. I am posting a picture for people to see quality of topsoil that i got from this nursery. Not recommended.

I ordered compost, yes, COMPOST from them a while back. That is NOT what I received. It was full of sand, wood chips (large) and stones. I wasn't home to see the soil they delivered, but when I did, I was pissed off. It was horrible. Compost should not have sand or rocks in it. I'm still upset after all this time to see they're still up to their bad ways. You could see the bad quality of the product from the street. It was light colored, dried out and pebbly after being there about an hour. Compost is dark and rich-looking like coffee grinds. They dropped it where I wanted, but that was all they got right.

I agreed to leave work early to meet the driver earlier than we had agreed on. He got there 10 minutes before me and couldn’t wait so dumped it right in the middle of the active street, instead of on the patio where we agreed it would go.. i was late to pick up my kids because i had to clear the street of rocks. And what he dropped off was nothing like what he promised.. It was 25% mud and sand with some construction debris, asphalt debris and lava rocks. I gave him a chance to fix the problem, but all I could do was make excuses and lie ,, Classic switch and bait. This guy cannot tell the truth. He wasted my time and money.do not trust !
