Called to see if I would be able to take family pictures and how much it would cost, the lady was very rude and just sat in silence. Poor experience

There weren't a lot of trees to cut yourself & none were full, tall trees (nothing over 5'). Chose a pre-cut instead. It was marked as a concolor for $45, about 5' tall. However the young man working there said it was marked wrong; that it was a Douglas Fir and was $79. We explained this exchange to the woman handling payment, as we were told to do, and the guy came in to state the same. I thought for sure the lady would say that the price it was marked would be the price to pay, that it was their mistake & they'd honor the price as marked. She did not. A concolor has a distinctive smell - citrus. The young man nor the woman tried to smell the tree. On the 5 minute drive home we could smell the citrus. We put up the tree a few days later and I called the tree farm to explain this scenario and that it definitely was marked as the correct tree type. I though she'd say they'd refund the difference on the prices, but she said the tree would have been $79 regardless. So 1st it's the "tree type is wrong so the price is higher", then it's "well, it would've been that price anyway, we have new people that dont know the trees". The whole exchange leaves me less than comfortable with the business practices, tree identification and oversight. Thanks for taking a notch out of my Christmas spirit.

Had a great cut your own experience. While the selection was a little spread/had to pick through- we found the perfect tree. Several different types. Saws and wagon provided. Flat rate for cut your own. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Really like this place, we found a tree almost immediately. Will more than likely come back next year.
