Holly Days Nursery, Garden Center, & Landscaping

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Holly Days! Shannon assisted my family with finding bushes that would complement our house. She went above and beyond by looking at pictures of our home and finding the perfect plants! She was extremely patient with us and answered all of our questions. Furthermore, she was great with our 2 year old son, encouraging him to explore all the plants. Before we left she provided us with everything we needed for planting and plant care and encouraged us to call with any questions. We will definitely be using Holly Days in the future with any and all planting and landscaping needs!

If you want trouble with your pond, call Holly Days. They will cause it, try to fix it, fail, and then blame you. I am responding to the owner's reply to my earlier review, since it contains several claims that are simply not true. Holly Days says the leak appeared "weeks after" their cleaning. It did not. The pond began losing water immediately after their service. They say the automatic fill line "was discussed prior to installation." It was not. We learned about it when our water company contacted us about abnormally high usage and asked if we had a leak. That is how we discovered a water line had been run to our pond — from our utility, not from Holly Days. Ask yourself: if we had knowingly approved a line that pumps water into a leaking pond indefinitely, why would we have been surprised by the bill? They say they recommended a full liner replacement as the long-term solution. They did not. What actually happened: they came out multiple times, attempted repairs, and acknowledged responsibility — right up until the fix proved difficult. Then the story changed. Most troubling, their reply states that after seeing my review, they visited our property and went into our backyard to inspect the pond. We did not invite them, and we were not home. They then used that uninvited visit to accuse us, in writing, of "negligent care." As for that accusation: the pond had to be completely rebuilt — a major expense caused by damage their team created and could not fix. That is not neglect. That is the cost of their work. We hired this company to clean a pond. We ended up with a punctured liner, an unauthorized water line, buckled patio pavers from months of underground leaking, inflated water bills, a full rebuild, and a public accusation that we neglected our own property. Read their reply to my original review, then read this one. Decide for yourself which account holds together. "We are evaluating small claims court to recover the rebuild cost"

I ordered a bulk playground mulch delivery. It was super easy to do online, selected next day, driver was sitting in my driveway at 7:10 AM the next morning. Highly satisfied with how easy the process was and the extremely quick turnaround.

Chuck at Holly Days Nursery is a godsend. Having just purchased a house with a cross between a pond and a water feature, I had no idea how to get started. Chuck walked me through all the basics and pointed me to just the right water treatment (and the how-to). Then, he gave me a detailed tour of the plants, letting me know the behavior, growth pattern, and benefits of each, including what to do with each in the off-season. I live about an hour from Holly Days, but this is now absolutely my go-to nursery. (Don’t even get me started on the garden selections.)
