Although this is a lovely greenhouse with a nice gift shop, I was disappointed with its lack of friendliness and customer service. Workers walked by with no greetings or smile. I was juggling quite a few things and no one asked to help bring it to the register. I’m a stickler for good service so I may be over judging. Hoping this helps to improve their service.
Nice selection of plants.
I travel throughout Lancaster County specifically to shop at local plant nurseries and greenhouses. During my visit, I was told I could not have the tray that my herbs were sitting in because the greenhouse reuses them. I explained that I was traveling and would be staying in the area for several more days before returning home, but I was still given only a cardboard box instead. Unfortunately, the herbs were already extremely dry when I purchased them. Because they were placed in a cardboard box rather than a reusable plant tray, I now have to repeatedly unpack them to water them, allow them to dry sufficiently, and then repack them before continuing my trip. This has made transporting the plants much more difficult than necessary. Customer service and plant care should be priorities, especially for customers traveling from out of town. My recommendation would be to skip this greenhouse and visit Groff's instead. I have found them to be much more accommodating and customer-focused.
