⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stopped into Hyams Garden Center looking for a hostess gift while we were vacationing on Folly Beach, and I’m so glad I did. First, the greenhouse is absolutely beautiful. Everywhere you look there are healthy, vibrant plants, gorgeous flowers, and hanging baskets that make you immediately start imagining where they’d look best at home. I found the most stunning hanging basket for my aunt, and she absolutely loved it. The staff was just as wonderful as the plants. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles, friendly hellos, and such a welcoming atmosphere. Now, a little context: my husband and two kids have learned that if Mom says, “Let’s just stop by the garden center,” they’re probably in for a while. 😂 They usually roll their eyes because they know I can happily wander through greenhouses for ages. This time, though, I had one mission: buy a hostess gift and leave. I put my plant blinders on, resisted the urge to adopt half the greenhouse, grabbed the hanging basket, checked out, and somehow made it in and out in under five minutes. Honestly, that may be my greatest accomplishment of the entire vacation. Even with such a quick visit, I knew this was the kind of garden center I’d love to come back to. Beautiful selection, healthy plants, friendly people, and an easy shopping experience. If you’re anywhere near Folly Beach and appreciate a great garden center, it’s absolutely worth the stop.
