Shades of Texas Wholesale Nursery

I walk in and all the people at the front counter ignore you and keep chatting with each other. Finally, an older man directed me to the back where the plants are. I Bought a $325 spiral tree and it died after 2 weeks. I called and spoke with Gabby Cardenas and she said there is no warranty. Then she said to send her pics. After reviewing the photos with her botanical eye, she said just add water. It’s only stressed. So we followed her instructions. Two days later the tree is still dead, more dead than before. We ask to speak with the manager. Gabby says the manager John is not available. I called again later and this time speak with Yadira. she is a massive JERK! She could not care less. She kept saying there is no manager. Then said the manager is Daniel, but said he had a family emergency and didn't go to work that week. Then I asked for the owner and she said the owner doesn’t give his contact info. What kind of operation is that! I called several more times. Multiple people said, there is no manager and the owner won’t speak to customers. This place sucks !! Update: John finally called me. He stated he is only part owner and the other owner is Daniel. He was upset I gave them a bad review. He insists that it died because I failed to water it. Actually I did water it just like my other plants. Their tree is the only one that is dead. He says they have no warranty on their products. He also said he didn’t make me buy it. It’s my fault for buying it. I then call back to speak with the actual owner. I spoke with Daniel this time. Daniel says he is only the manager and John is the owner not him. (notice how nobody wants to be the owner) He regurgitates that there is no warranty and because I'm upset he doesn't want my business. (I already paid $325) He too says that he didn't force me to buy it and that I bought the unicorn of trees because mine is the only one that died. He stated I had bad luck because it died. I don’t know how this place stays in business. They have poor customer service and do not care about their reputation. Poor customer service. Poor products.

You will have to do a u-turn at the light to come down the street The delivery is down a small road you are able to park at the gate but make sure you pull all the way up so your trailer doesn’t stick out in the street

Beautiful nursery with excellent quality plants. The customer service is amazing, especially Jaime—always friendly, helpful, and great at assisting with plant selection. He also makes sure my orders are ready, which makes everything very easy. Highly recommended! 🌿

Phenomenal business with kind and caring customer service. They have excellent pricing and a large variety of plants and trees. They have taken care of my business for years. The owners are salt of the earth and always willing to go the extra mile. Cannot give them enough praise!

We buy the plants from this nursery this morning alots of workers standing around when I asked nobody willing to help or give me no service especially the Mexican skinny lady work at the plants section just point the finger over there and run the sprinkler on me got wet all over my clothes when I picked up the plants. I always buy rocks,pavers,plants mulch and Christmas lights everything. The office worker Gaby and other workers in the office are so rude always laughing and mocking at me all the time when I asked them Daniel sent me a rude message said that everybody too busy and nobody runs the sprinkler intentionally. I recommend don't go to this horrible place stay away from rude, discrimination, unhelpful p Workers.go somewhere else that they appreciate our business
