I love this place so much, I’ll drive 125 miles each way, to get there. Coming here is a delight. Even on the hottest day, it’s cool because of all the trees. Giant oak and pecan trees shade most of the garden area. There’s always a gentle breeze blowing through. They have an incredible variety of plants, including annuals, perennials, and house plants. They also have a very fine array of cactus and other succulents. Take your time exploring, and don’t forget to check out the discount area, which is located near the goats and chickens! Oh, did I not mention that? They have friendly goats and chickens that love when people say hello. Make sure you check out the gift shop. They have lovely things for the garden, including many delightful wind chimes.

The staff is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They know plants and how to take care of them.
Purchased several plants based on the recommendation that they were hearty and Houston weather isn't a problem. Watered them as instructed and have been diligent with them. One is dead within a month and another is wilting. Complete waste of money. I tried to stay local to support these businesses but for plants, probably best to stick with the big box stores that have warranties on their plants. I feel like I wasted a good amount of money that I won't get back. People are friendly there and layout is nice. Sad that the plants turned to be junk
