If you live in or around this area and are planning to put a pollinator garden together, really consider stocking up from Woolly Bear. Their selection is incredible, I found species in their inventory that I'd never heard of before (even though I've been playing around with SE natives for a bit now). Their website is very thoughtfully put together, with in-depth descriptions of each plant, thoroughly detailing their needs and their importance to local wildlife. The plants I ordered were very healthy and included a very cool little instruction sheet on how to take care of them after first putting them in the ground. Henry and Alex's mission here is something to be admired, so if you're building a garden in the near future, don't drive over to Lowe's and just pick up any old thing. Look around on these guys' website and really consider getting something that will festoon your space, and simultaneously support the local ecosystem.
