Went on a search for podophyllum plants on Google becuase i was only finding spotty dottie at my local green houses, my first thought was how can you ship plants? I love this place and they have so many amazing plants for sale. Today I had a neighbor over for a tour of my garden that lasted two hours. So many of the things that she admired were from Far Reaches and I was surprised to discover just how many plants I have purchased from them. Thanks to my two daughters' and a son-in-law's generous birthday and Christmas gift certificates I have been able to add many special plants to my garden. The garden is "my happy place" and keeps me from thinking about our country's upheaval and other stressors in my life. Many thanks to the people at Far Reaches Farm for making this possible. When my husband complains I remind him about his multiiple cross country road trips and that I could be doing worse things.
The nursery makes it very easy to organize picking your plants up, and it’s a good excuse to explore the Port Townsend area. All the plants I ordered were in great condition
I planted ten things in late July - not an ideal time for planting - and they're all thriving. Customer service was amazing when I changed my mind about one thing (just after I'd placed my order). The copy is entertaining and inspiring. Extremely unique selection but not intimidating. Highly recommend this nursery for online purchases.
A shockingly fun selection of plants and the first hand knowledge and wisdom of collecting and growing them to back them up. I’m amazed at the quality of their plants every time I order, especially given the huge collection they’re maintaining. I will continue to turn my currency into their plants in my garden over and over again.
