Fallen Oak Mycology operates a state-of-the-art, 25,000-square-foot facility near Austin, Texas, serving as a dual-purpose commercial farm and a premier supplier of mycological infrastructure. They produce over 10,000 pounds of USDA Organic and GAP-certified gourmet mushrooms weekly for national grocery retailers and local distributors. Beyond their role as a producer, the company provides critical support for the broader mycology industry by manufacturing pre-sterilized, fully colonized substrate blocks designed to help other farms scale production while minimizing labor and overhead. Committed to circular agriculture, they also process 25,000 pounds of nutrient-rich, spent mushroom compost weekly, which they supply to the agricultural sector for soil regeneration. Their mission focuses on ecological stewardship and the optimization of mushroom cultivation technology, balancing large-scale commercial output with sustainable, regenerative farming practices.

Fallen Oak! You guys are amazing! Thank you so much for guiding us on how to cultivate grow your grow blocks at home. We cannot believe how many blooms and pounds of Lions Mane came off of just one grow-block! Your team was very communicative and informative generally. We were instructed on how to use the substrate from the blocks in our garden beds after the blooms were complete. We look forward to exploring more of your products in the future. Thanks again!

Like in Shawshank Redemption movie, soil is abundant and needs be cared for and sometimes hauled off to strategic locations, promoting forestation and remedying soil run off. Shroom soil is recycled soil, I think.. with depleted nitrogen..but helps retain water.. I don't know... But I do know I may be wrongggg
