Whitfill Nursery

I was looking for a heat/drought tolerant plant, and they were so friendly and helpful. I love my new hibiscus 🌺

I had a very concerning experience with a Whitfill Nursery truck at the intersection of Pima Road and Pinnacle Peak Road. Traffic was merging from multiple lanes down to two lanes, with plenty of advance warning. All drivers merged appropriately and safely. However, the driver of a Whitfill truck hauling a very large trailer loaded with landscaping materials waited until the very last moment, accelerated and then attempted to force his way into my lane. The rear portion of his trailer was still alongside my vehicle when he started moving over. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid being pushed into another car and potentially causing an accident. The driver could have simply waited a few seconds for a safe opening instead of relying on the size of his truck and trailer to force the merge. This was an extremely unsafe maneuver that put other drivers at risk. If a company doesn’t prioritize safe driving practices from employees operating large commercial vehicles, it raises concerns about their overall attention to safety and professionalism. I hope Whitfill takes driver training and public safety seriously and addresses this behavior before someone gets injured.

Their customer service and the variety of plants they have are amazing! I love going to this place to buy soil. The soil I bought there was great for my plants, and if you're looking for soil for indoor plants, they have one that doesn't attract mosquitoes. I highly recommend this place! 😊👍

Today, Yesenia, the Nursery Assistant, provided us with an extensive tour of the Whitfield nursery situated on East Southern in Phoenix, Arizona. Yesenia meticulously introduced us to the various plants by name, which was truly remarkable. The exhibition of diverse tropical and domestic trees was nothing short of spectacular. The thousands of plants were absolutely stunning as my friend and I admired the beautiful display of enormous trees and the wide array of every type of desert and garden plant. As we wandered through the nursery, it felt like we were on a delightful field trip, with butterflies fluttering all around, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Heaven. Eventually, we concluded our shopping, and it was a genuine pleasure to visit Whitfill nursery. Thank you, Whitfill nursery, for employing such a wonderful staff member.
