I recently purchased some bog plants and a pitcher plant from James. Not only did he take the time to go over all of his unique plants to help me pick out the best ones with me, he was also very knowledgeable in helping me care for my new babies so I would have a successful start. So far they are doing very well. I highly recommend using his plants if you are looking for something beautiful, exotic and fun to watch when they catch some bugs.
I ordered three plants from this place and I just love them! I am a plant person but new to the world of carnivorous plants. One of the owners (James) was so knowledgeable and shared a ton of information with me. He even threw in a fourth plant for free - a cool pitcher plant! - which was super thoughtful. The plants arrived very well packaged and once they settled into their new environment they started growing! Highly recommend this place if you want to get into carnivorous plants. They are so cool!
I purchased a couple of Nepenthes ampullaria from Clearwater Carnivores. It was my first purchase from them, but I have been keeping and ordering Nepenthes from online sellers for the past 8 years or so. Plants were priced very competitively and arrived super healthy. Packed excellently, shipped promptly, and the s&h cost was totally appropriate/reasonably. I plan to be a repeat buyer.
I want to give a HUGE shout out to clearwater carnivores!!! I got 2 dream plants from them just this week and man i cant tell you how pleased i was to do business with them. From the initial conversation to receiving the plants it has been nothing but a pleasure. The plants came packaged so dang well i think usps could used it as a football and it woulda been good. Thanks again for some beautiful nepenthes, i look forward to future purchases!
