Well, I have found my go-to native plant nursery in Minnesota! Worth the 50-minute drive from the cities. Roy and Jonathan are an absolute wealth of information. They were so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. And their selection is really huge. I especially appreciated that plants were sorted by sun and hydration needs. Made shopping so much easier. I’ll be back soon!

I don't have enough good things to say about Roy and his team up at Landscape Alternatives!! This is THE place to go if you are looking for beautiful, abundant and diverse native plants for any landscape project. Jonathan attentively and expertly helped me and a neighbor select the right plants for our curb cut rain garden projects and offered so much helpful guidance in planning out the new gardens. The prices at this nursery are super reasonable and the plants are clearly very healthy and vigorous. I needed a large amount of young plants for my project and appreciate that most of their plants come in a small six-pack option as well as larger plants in 3-inch pots for those wanting a more established plant. Roy shared with us that he grows all of the plants outdoors on his property and overwinters them outside, so they are already prepared for our climate. Looking forward to many more trips here as I continue to rework my yard with native plants!!
