About the Nursery

Ornamental and Specimen Nursery. Top products: Japanese Maples, Flowering Shrubs, Specimen Conifers, Camellias, Hydrangeas. Lots of Plants is a specialized online horticultural nursery and landscape supplier focused on providing high-quality, mature plants to homeowners and professional landscapers. Their inventory emphasizes ornamental beauty and immediate landscape impact, featuring a broad selection of flowering shrubs, privacy trees, and specimen plants. Key offerings include Japanese maples, various species of camellias, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, and conifers such as weeping blue spruce and arborvitae. The nursery differentiates itself by sourcing large-format specimens—ranging up to 35-gallon container sizes—enabling customers to establish mature-looking gardens quickly. Beyond plant material, the business has expanded its catalog to include landscaping materials such as one-ton pallets of stone for hardscaping projects. With a commitment to regional suitability, they organize their offerings by planting zones and specific garden needs, such as deer resistance, drought tolerance, and pollinator attraction. They utilize a partner-grower network, including major operations in Oregon, to facilitate the shipping of heavy, large-scale botanical specimens directly to customers nationwide.

Buyer beware !! Bought a yellow peony For over $100 from them . I received it on a Thursday, opened it up and it was in rough shape. I planted it and tried to nurse it back, but it did not make it. Sent them emails immediately on Sunday ,been calling many many many times and leaving voicemails for days I have heard nothing from them This place has the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with

DO NOT BUY PLANTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I was most disappointed with the two, near-dead Ruby Slippers Hydrangea I received AND the lack of communication from the company. I opened the shipping box immediately. The box wasn’t damaged, but these were not the “healthy” plants advertised on the website. Both 3 gallon plants were wilted beyond recovery and near dead. I phoned, sent an email with photos, and sent additional photos requested by the company. This is day three and still no reply to my follow-up emails. I have planted the hydrangea in the hopes of a miraculous recovery - emphasis on recovery- and plan to file a claim with my credit card company to dispute the charge because Lots of Plants has made NO effort whatsoever to resolve this issue.

This nursery was amazing‼️ There was a problem with my shipmeunt because os UPS and Lots of Plants handled the problem and I received the plant the very next day. And by the way the plant was in excellent shape and healthy.

Bad quality and no support. We purchased $1000 worth of expensive azaleas from this company with very disappointing results and no customer service. We are experienced gardeners. We followed their instructions to a tee including late fall planting. Two of the ten plants died. The remaining plants, while living are weak but we are nursing them. (Since the original review most of the plants have died.) When we contacted Lots of Plants to inquire about replacements we received no response to multiple attempts. With persistence we reached someone who simply said no replacements and no help. We feel that our purchase was large enough to have merited a more helpful response. We were looking for a specific variety of azalea and happy to find it on the Lots of Plants website but should have dug deeper. Apparently they are mostly a reseller and don't grow all of their plants which explains why some get good plants and some get poor quality. Their website says that of their plants are grown "within the area." We have found another place to order the replacements at less than half this cost and the plants are bigger, healthy, and gorgeous. Read reviews and support policies before you order.
