After about a decade of wonderful interactions and plants, we have moved thousands of miles away. Parker’s is one of the handful of places and , especially people, we miss. This family and their business are what is needed and what is right in this world. If you haven’t been there, go. If you have, continue. Knowing they prosper makes me happy. I loved the selection of native & obscure/wild flowers that will thrive here!!! Prices are excellent, everyone’s friendly. They have a porta-potty now, and it smelled like jasmine when I dashed in there this morning!! Really lovely place.
I've been able to create a beautiful garden using Parker's plants at a fraction of the cost it would have cost using other plant nurseries. Their plants are healthy and acclimated to New Mexico's high desert, the owners are on site and generous with information.
I havn't been to Parker's in a couple years, and Im half a world away. Yet, here I am thinking of this magical place with warm, kind people. Some places have the power to touch something deep in your soul. This is such a place.
