Groovy is a good word for this place. It has an up to date, hip feel. I asked several questions and they were quick to answer and very helpful. I found that their prices were reasonable compared to other little nurseries I've been in. The plants were very healthy. I hope this place can keep going and people should support it.

Picked up the sweetest air plant from them at a pop up event and I am absolutely in love with it! Everything was fairly priced. Customer service was top tier! I was provided care instructions. I can’t wait to visit the shop!
Friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.
Nice plant shop and great customer service. Enjoyed first experience
I’ve shopped at The Groovy Little Greenhouse multiple times and have always loved the plants, candles, and overall atmosphere. I especially appreciated the staff member who took time to teach me about plants—it was a space of calm I valued deeply, especially as I use plants to manage stress. However, my most recent visit was deeply upsetting. During a calm conversation with an employee, I mentioned I was unsure about buying something for my girlfriend after a recent breakup. In that moment, I shared that, sometimes, when I was hurting, I felt like women could be mean. I didn’t mean it as a sweeping statement—just a personal reflection on the pain I was going through. Out of nowhere, the owner intervened, aggressively shouting at me and telling me to leave—before I could even explain or apologize, which I did. I stayed calm, but the way I was treated felt personal and discriminatory—especially as a U.S. Army veteran and someone currently studying to help other veterans. This also struck me at a time when I’ve been seeing a lot online about gender dynamics—how men are sometimes unfairly portrayed or treated, even in progressive spaces. In fact, the way I was treated that day, unfortunately, reinforced those worries—that men can be dismissed or misunderstood in these kinds of conversations. While I was really confused and flabbergasted as I was being verbally accosted and aggressively attacked, as I was leaving, I was trying to tell the other store worker, you know, if I had said anything wrong, or for lack of better words, when I used the word ‘mean,’ I was trying to apologize. But as I was trying to do that, the owner just kept getting louder and louder, approaching me aggressively. I rely on spaces like this for peace, not for feeling threatened. If anyone reading this has legal expertise, is connected to the Better Business Bureau, or is an advocate for protecting consumer rights, I hope you take this as a call to action. The store should be held accountable for how they treat all customers, and I believe there is evidence inside, like security footage, that could support this. I’ve never written a negative review before, but I felt I needed to speak up. Places built around nature and healing should be welcoming and safe for everyone. I hope this review sparks the accountability and change that is needed..
