About the Nursery

Ornamental Shrub and Tree Nursery. Top products: Rhododendrons, Maple Trees, Azaleas, Hydrangeas, Berries. Rhododendrons Direct is a specialized plant nursery focused on the cultivation and retail distribution of ornamental woody plants. Their core inventory is heavily concentrated on a vast selection of Rhododendrons, Azaleas, and Hydrangeas, alongside a significant collection of Maple trees. The nursery caters to both professional landscapers and residential gardeners looking for specific ornamental varieties, including rare species plants. They operate an e-commerce model, allowing customers to schedule shipping weeks for their orders, which suggests a logistics-focused approach to plant distribution. While they maintain a wide range of botanical offerings, their primary expertise lies in ericaceous shrubs and specimen trees. By offering seasonal inventory such as Christmas products and regularly updated catalogs, they serve as a reliable source for horticultural enthusiasts seeking high-quality plant stock, ranging from specialty landscape focal points to garden staples.

I have ordered rhododendrons from them here and there throughout the past few years. They all arrived in wonderful shape, and were packaged really well and shipped with care.

I ordered a rhododendron from here and when it arrived it was covered in brown spots. I've done a google search which indicates this is a fungus. Including shipping, I have $40 invested in this very small tree and I have no idea what to do with the plant, if I'm supposed to treat it with a fungicide or if the plant needs to be destroyed. There is no contact number on the website anywhere that I can find and even the direct email page on the site doesn't work. They do provide an alternate email address and I've emailed it 5 times now with no response back. I found on their website where they had to destroy a bunch of trees due to a fungus so I guess it's best if I do the same. Heck I would have rather just set fire to $40 instead of putting all my other plants at risk. I do not recommend buying from this company.

The Last Rhododendron I ordered died within 2 weeks this Spring. Now I have a letter from the WA Department of Agriculture about some disease they are looking for.

Arrived well packed and in good health from Oregon. Even in beat up package from FedEx.
