Beautiful plants, helpful employees. I got a polka dot begonia with already chunky soil, unlike the super thick soil from big stores. I’ve had it for about an month and it’s exploded with growth.

I've probably walked by this shop literally hundreds of times but somehow only found out about it today when I searched for plant shops to check out on my way home. But now that I know about it, I'll definitely be back! I was in awe of the plant selection and it was honestly hard for me to make a selection because I wanted so many of them but only have so much room at home. The staff was super friendly and helpful, I heard them answering questions from several other customers asking about how to care for their new plants, and the lady even came up and gave me some care instructions for plants I was looking at. When I saw a beautiful Madagascar palm that was a little too pricey for me, she brought out a smaller and less expensive one that I bought on the spot. I think maybe the only feedback I'd give is having labels for even the smaller plants, I also bought a cute little baby opuntia but I haven't yet identified it. But like I said, I'll definitely be back!

Talise Garden is my favorite plant shop in Portland! The couple who own it are absolutely lovely, so welcoming, knowledgeable, and always personable! They have a beautiful variety of plants and an amazing selection of pots, from small and funky to large statement pieces. I couldn’t agree more with another reviewer, it truly feels like being a kid in a candy shop! At one point I think I was there three weekends in a row. Haha!

Today was my first stop visiting this store and I just purchased this beautiful fern. The people working there were so lovely, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again.
