About the Nursery

Local Farm Produce Market. Top products: in-season produce, local farm goods. Bedner's Farm Market is a family-operated agricultural business that sources fresh, seasonal produce directly from its primary farm in Mercer, Pennsylvania. With a retail location situated on Bower Hill Road near Upper Saint Clair and Bridgeville, the market serves local residents by providing access to freshly harvested fruits and vegetables. The company emphasizes its direct-to-consumer model, maintaining a clear supply chain from their fields to the customer's table. Their operations are centered on the sale of seasonal agricultural commodities, prioritizing quality and freshness. By acting as a distribution point for their own farm production, they offer local families an alternative to traditional grocery retail, focusing on the quality of locally-grown food items rather than ornamental nursery stock or horticultural supplies.

It's not a big market, there are flower and plant seedlings in the greenhouses, and fruits and vegetables in the store itself.

This summer I bought pickling cucumbers. The quality was perfect for canning my pickles. I often visit for fresh vegetables and fruit. Produce is locally grown and staff is friendly. Prices are very reasonable

I bought B&B corn & some tomatoes yesterday...The corn was so delicious 🀀. Made me tear up...The Great Scott Democrat picnics were so incredible for many years. Bedner's actually planted fields just for the picnics every year. Buzz McGowan was the corn 🌽 master & I was just caught up in the memories.πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Big Ed, my Dad, retired in 1994. I had feta with the tomatoes & Basil along with a lemon vinaigrette dressing.πŸ₯—πŸ…πŸŒ½πŸ‘πŸ˜ŽπŸ–€πŸ’›
