As a first time bamboo buyer it was a very pleasant experience working with Stan. On first call, he provided lot of information about the different varieties of bamboo sent exact pictures of the plants he had in stock and very cooperative and worked around our schedule.He provided detailed information on type of soil to use, how to plant. I have already recommended him to couple of friends and highly recommend him to others.
Stan helped me pick and plant Spectabilis bamboo in our backyard to add the privacy and beauty we sought. Over a decade later, the plants are still thriving (touch wood!) and serving the purpose we had in mind. Stan is absolutely amazing! I had the most lovely experience working with him and getting educated about bamboo. I bought six plants and put them in metal stock tanks to block the view of my neighbor's barn. It worked perfectly! I can't wait to add some more bamboo from Beauty And The Bamboo to my yard. I can't say enough how knowledgeable Stan is about bamboo and also very helpful in giving me instructions on how to plant and grow it. I have been growing bamboo in our backyard for over 10 years and learned so much in the two visits I had with him. His selection of bamboo plants far exceeds the big Seattle nurseries that we have visited in the past, plus I never felt like I was getting any good advice on how to plant and maintain it. My wife wanted new bamboo plants for the backyard for her birthday and Stan helped us pick out what would work for our needs. I definitely recommend him for anyone looking to buy bamboo.
