About the Nursery

Edible Food Forest Nursery. Top products: Grafted fruit trees, Perennial herbs, Tropical ornamentals, Native pollinator plants, Edible landscape crops. Food Forest Finds is a specialized horticultural nursery based in Central Florida, dedicated to the development and installation of sustainable food forest ecosystems. The nursery focuses on climate-resilient plant varieties that are specifically adapted to Florida’s unique environmental conditions. Their production methods include a combination of seedling propagation, grafting, rooted cuttings, and air-layering to ensure genetic consistency and faster fruit production for their customers. The inventory is extensive, ranging from rare tropical fruit trees such as Jaboticaba, Sapodilla, and various grafted mango and avocado cultivars, to functional perennial crops, medicinal herbs, and edible greens like Malabar and Okinawa spinach. In addition to edible crops, the nursery has expanded its catalog to include tropical ornamentals and native pollinator-friendly plants designed to foster biodiversity and ecosystem balance. The business primarily serves homeowners and gardening enthusiasts looking to integrate food production into their private landscapes. Operating on an appointment-only basis, the nursery emphasizes education, providing clients with guidance on propagation techniques and plant selection to maximize garden yields and long-term sustainability.

Wow! What a great experience!! KC provided so much information. It’s so motivating to see such a thriving forest in a small area. Would definitely recommend anyone interested in growing plants in Central Florida to take the tour. In the nursery plants are so reasonably priced! Thank you for having us! We felt so welcome.

Wonderful experience even though it was pouring rain! She was very knowledgeable and kind and pricing is fabulous. It is apparent that they want to help people grow their own food, not gate-keep the concept. Grateful they exist. Will do business with again when the Lord allows.

This was a great experience. We made an appointment. The proprieter was there, and very knowledgable. She split her time well between all her shoppers - I highly recommend her for purchasing your plants.

My husband and I toured KC's garden/ food forest and were amazed at what she's able to grow in a normal sized yard in a normal neighborhood. She is extremely knowledgeable and kind enough to let us try whatever fruits happened to be ripe. I was able to try things i've only heard about like longevity spinach, katuk, and sapodilla to name a few.
