Honestly out of the 100s & 100s of house plants in there- there is maybe 5 SOLID HEALTHY PLANTS ! Its so sad to see and I wanted to rescue one but they wouldnt even discount it because it had ‘new growth’ At this point they should be getting rid of them to stop anymore from having to be trashed from illness. All cactus had staph, a lot of plants had mealy bugs and almost all has fungus gnats flying around. These plants need rescuing but without them being marked down reasonably- is it worth risking your house plants you already have. I dont necessarily feel this way about all zamzows- mainly state st. Their house plant section is absolutely horrific and the plant companies need to stop shipping them here, for them to just die..

I have loved going to Zamzows since I was a kid. I love the plants!!! I have bought yard supplies, chickens, and pet supplies here in addition to the thousands of plants I have bought here. But I am so upset with their recent "sale" I don't know if I will ever return. I recently started buying my dog food here, despite the fact it's more expensive, but with so many dog food products turning out to be harmful I wanted something I could trust. I stopped in cause I saw the signs saying the were having a "Huge Dog Food Sale" and thought I would stock up on a few bags...BUT when I went in to see how much it was marked down, the bag I usually buy was the same exact price it always is! The tag on it said it was marked down $5, but the price point it stated as it's "regular" price was actually $5 higher, therefore the "sale" price was actually it's normal price. I thought maybe I just remembered wrong but I have since confirmed with a previous receipt I still had from the bag I bought before the sale started, a price comparison of the bag they have at Winco, and the regular price shown online. So unless Zamzows is involved in some sort of Mandela effect I paid regular price for a "sale" priced item. Plus, $5 off does not make for a huge sale. Sadly, in the end, the deceptive practices with this "sale" have just made me question their reliability and my continued patronage.
