Wowwww No. I ordered a few things including 1,000 strawberries and they sent me 700 (COUNT YOUR ORDERS PEOPLE)... I had to go through Johnny Seed who fulfills the home garden orders who swore up and down they would be fulfilling the missing items with nourse... Not only did they Not send the items but they stopped responding after acknowledging they would be sending what I was shorted. Battling it out with the credit companies now to get my hard earned money back for the ones they never sent Do Not Order From This site or Johnny Seed - not worth the hassle. Crooook Alert!

I ordered 25 blueberry plants (3 varieties - small plugs) and 25 raspberry (Joan J -bare root) and 5 blackberry (Natchez) from Nourse Farms for my property in Maine (Zone 5A). All arrived in good condition, boxed and packaged well with damp roots via UPS. I had the soil for the blueberry plants prepared well in advance of their arrival, a mixture of topsoil, compost, and a lot of spagnum peat moss (6 bales for a 75 foot mounded row). The day the plants arrived they were strong green stems with reddish buds and no leaves. They were immediately put in the ground. The instructions stated clearly to put the plants in the ground immediately. I believe the growth of the blueberry plants resulted from preparing the soil in advance, planting when they arrived, watering them thoroughly and irrigating them continuously with a drip line on a timer. I also had the soil (compost and topsoil mixed) for the raspberry and blackberry plants prepared in advance. The raspberry roots were in good shape with some new shoots already forming. The Blackberry plants were little plugs with 1 or two leaves each. They were each planted upon arrival and are growing well. 30 days after, of 25 bare root raspberry plants, all have now popped leaves. Most have a primocane or two, 4 to 8 inches tall with 12 to 18 leaves. Of the 5 blackberry plants, all are thriving, 6 inches tall with 12 to 18 leaves. The Nourse Farms website gives you instructions and they have a few videos on YouTube. I read the instructions and watched the videos before my plants arrived. If you follow the instructions, your berry plants will thrive. I'm thoroughly pleased. Five Stars. Edited to show blueberry plants 3 years later
My parents have been ordering a few wholesale plants yearly and this year, the strawberries are well kept and beautiful. They’re happy with the delivery! Thank you!
I bought tiny, but healthy, blueberry plugs from them a year ago and thought it was a very fair price for 12$. It is such a shame to see a well-respected family business sell out to a big company by increasing their prices to such a degree. Unless you’re a farmer, just go buy your plants from a smaller local nursery. Nourse is no longer worth it.
Great plants however seems like they sold out to PE and now their prices are triple what they were last year for the same plants. Will have to unfortunately bring my business elsewhere
