Chlorophyll by Kinghorn Gardens

I typically don’t write reviews but my partner and I left feeling really disappointed by our experience. When we first walked in, there were already a couple of customers being helped. So we completely understood not being greeted right away. However, even after we became the only people in the store, the two workers still didn’t acknowledged us or welcomed us in, which made the atmosphere feel a bit uninviting. At one point my partner was showing me something that caught his eye when one of the employees stepped directly between us to put a plant away. There was no “excuse me” or moment of acknowledgment and the interaction came across as dismissive rather than considerate. It’s especially unfortunate because the shop itself is absolutely beautiful. There were so many lovely finds throughout the store, even if some of the pricing felt a little high for more common plants. We did end up purchasing a couple of pots because we genuinely liked the selection. Overall, the lack of warmth and customer service really affected our experience. It’s disappointing because the space has such a cozy and welcoming feel aesthetically, but the interactions we had didn’t reflect that same sense of hospitality. We truly wanted to love this place, but sadly we wouldn’t choose to return

This is a lovely spot and a true oasis, especially during the winter months when the air hurts your face. The selection is always plentiful and staff so knowledgeable and friendly.
