About the Nursery

Garden Center and Lawn. Top products: grass seed, sod, fertilizer, nursery stock, mulch and soil. Loveland Grass Pad (operating as Grass Pad) is a multi-location horticultural retail business serving the Midwestern United States, specifically the Kansas City and Omaha regions. They specialize in professional-grade lawn care and residential landscaping, focusing heavily on turf health through their branded 'Idiot Proof' lawn programs. Their product inventory includes specialized grass seed varieties (such as Heat Wave and Blue Wave fescue/bluegrass), commercial-grade fertilizers, weed and fungus control, soil amendments, and mulch. Additionally, the company maintains a garden center component that offers nursery stock, including trees, shrubs, and ornamental flowers hand-selected for local climate success. The company targets homeowners and property managers, positioning itself as an expert advisor rather than just a supply retailer by providing customized lawn care guidance via their 'Green Team' staff. Their operations revolve around providing the resources and knowledge necessary for DIY landscape maintenance and turf establishment.

Great prices. Love the set-up for picking up sod, fertilizer, topsoil etc.

It's okay for fertilizer and stuff I suppose. Not the best prices locally. Friendly staff, eager to sell. Larger plants are very over-priced. Just saw a rose of Sharon tree for $180 and a small bush for $40. I was thinking about getting one or other perennials, but then learned that they do not even offer the standard 1-year warranty you find with perennials other places. Since two (could be more, that's just what I noticed) of the perennials I purchased from here late last summer died I won't bother purchasing any more perennials from here.
