An incredible selection of native plants that are rare to find being sold anywhere else. The plants are healthy and raised with love, I can’t wait to give them a home in my garden!

Absolutely delightful business owners. I was in town for a quick visit and wanted to pick up some native plants. The owner responded to my inquiry right away and set up a time where I could purchase some plants. She and her husband are such nice people. Great selection of plants, reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

It's difficult to find straight species native plants ( plants that are truly native, not genetically-altered, like they are in 98% of non-native plant nurseries anywhere in America), but Rust Belt Natives has them. They're healthy, always thrive every year in my yard, and are at an affordable price. The owner is knowledgeable and affable, which has helped me in designing my yard and planning what will be a fit for my garden's growing conditions. I especially recommend her native trees and native shrubs because those are difficult to find in our area. I've tried shopping at places like Plumline Nursery, only to be disappointed that what they have is not actually straight species native plants. I usually go to her stall at tge Farmer's Market in Murrysville. I included photos of some of the plants I've purchased from Rust Belt Natives

I just happened to see their post on Facebook for a pop-up event today, 7/12/2025, in Garfield. Perfect timing as now is the time of season I look to fill in gaps, replenish what didnt thrive, or add to a collection. I parked on the street right next to their event. The selection of pure natives was heaven to me, not the nativars nurseries carry. There were plenty options, the plants were healthy, and prices great. I opted for common milkweed, whirled milkweed, coreopsis, and blue false indigo. They provided a box for easy carrying so I just bought as many would fill it up. Im definitely going to be on the lookout fir their future pop-up events. Note: they don't have a physical address for walking. They, instead do pop-uos and events. They do take cards as well as cash and have an email sign-up. Count me in. ALL in. This is a tremendous find!
