I recently was in Manchester for bonaroo and heard McMinnville was the nursery capital of the world. This was very exciting for me as I love landscaping and gardening! I went to many different nurseries, but this one was by far the best experience! There was a certain tree I wanted and it was much more expensive for smaller specimens elsewhere. I asked them to hold it until i could return the following weekend with a truck, and they did! Everyone I encountered while there was exceptional. They loaded and wrapped my tree and then unwrapped it and fixed everything after I added 2 more. They answered all of my questions and I ended up driving away with an entire truck load for probably less than I would have gotten my single tree at other nurseries. If you only shop at one nursery in all of McMinville, this is the nursery!! I drove 3 hours to return and I would happily do it all over again! I could have not asked for a better experience!

Im so glad we picked this one to go to. I live near Chattanooga and it is about an hour drive, but so worth it. Great price, friendly staff and tons of things to do.
Said open on website , however drove a hour and 15 min to be closed . And no one answered the phone.. Very disappointed Update we been back twice now. We love this place. Good food,the kids love it
This place is the best. We usually can find everything we need! Prices are good and selection is terrific!
I went to this nursery on May 13, 2025 and found they had excellent varieties of very healthy, well-maintained shrubs and trees. My daughter and I know little about plants, but the people at Cedarwood were very helpful in suggesting what we needed based on the garden space, sun exposure, and budget. They answered all of our stupid questions and made sure we had the knowledge so that we can take care of shrubs for the years to come. This is the place to get your plants if you are just an average homeowner and know nothing. Their prices are half to one-third of what you would pay at Lowe's or Home Depot. Their price list is online showing their variety and sizes of shrubs and trees for sale. There is no high-pressure to purchase from the staff. They just point you to the right direction to look at their inventory. We had shopped at two other nurseries in the McMinnville, TN area but loved this one the most. Cash is preferred, but they take credit cards with a 4% additional fee.
