About the Nursery

Native and Edible Nursery. Top products: native plants, edible plants, fruit. Stockton Nursery & Orchard is a horticultural enterprise dedicated to the cultivation and sale of native and edible plant species. The nursery operates with a strong commitment to sustainable agricultural practices, specifically implementing permaculture techniques within its orchard management. A core tenet of the business is its strict adherence to chemical-free growing standards, ensuring that all plants and fruit are produced without the use of synthetic pesticides or herbicides. By prioritizing ecological health and community well-being, the nursery serves as both a supplier of diverse plant materials and a model for environmentally conscious gardening. Their focus on native and edible landscapes caters to homeowners, gardeners, and developers seeking to integrate productive, resilient, and indigenous flora into their outdoor spaces.

I’ve always wanted to go there and see what they’re selling and doing. I spoke to the friendly owner who tells me they focus on native plantings and edible type trees/shrubs with berries, nuts etc. Since it’s still a work in progress, I marked it average . Though I will return to better see it in season with more offerings what they’re doing. They have a clear message of what they want to establish here in the community. This is not a fancy place this is more a mature lovers venue . Ii ended up buying a cart full of plants and will likely return for a few more to add to my garden ..

Wonderful establishment with all native plants. Paw Paw, Persimmon, Chestnut, Raspberry, and many, many more. All grafted and grown there. Come out and meet Brandon and Lou. We came home with a fig and paw paw. Check it out!
